SOUTHGATE DAY CENTRE

Multi@rts worked in partnership with Suffolk County Council Community Education to provide a series of film workshops to the Southgate Day Centre, Bury St.Edmunds.

Southgate Day Centre is a community in its own right for the members who have physical disabilities, and they wanted to share this with prospective members in the form of a documentary video.

The 10 week project taught the group to film using digital video cameras who then instructed Sally Roberts on how to edit the film together. The film covers individuals life stories to the point of them joining Southgate Day Centre and the impact it has had on all their lives.
